Be familiar with Double Girder EOT Crane purpose, components, operation and maintenance rules. Strictly follow Double Girder EOT Crane safety regulations.
 
Before operation should do:
Know power supply situation; do not start Double Girder EOT Crane when voltage is no more than 90% of rated voltage.
Check Double Girder EOT Crane when the main power is cut and check main connection parts, do adjustment if necessary.
Check if there are tools or other things on Double Girder EOT Crane, to avoid dropping hurts when crane is working.
Lubricate to each lubricating point according to the rules.
For outdoor use double girder crane, make sure the wind-proof when it not in use.
Operator should reset all controller switches to 0 position, close all doors before power is on. It is not allowed anyone standing on bridge or rail when crane is working.
Give alarm every time before crane start.
Loads shall not be more than rated load.
Crane operator should closely cooperate with worker on ground; operator should only follow workers who handle loads on hook. But no matter who gives the signal of “stop”, operator should stop immediately.
Not allowed tilted inclined hoisting.
Double Girder EOT Crane and trolley should use the lowest speed when they are near edge area, gradually close to limit position under the condition that they not dash collision-proof frame.
Workers make sure to avoid Double Girder EOT Cranes dash against each other. The only circumstance that allows one crane to push another is that the former crane is breakdown, and when one crane push another, both of them shall be no load and under the lowest speed.
Cut main power and put all controllers to 0 positions if voltage drops violently or power is cut.
Put all controllers to 0 positions and cut main power immediately if Double Girder EOT Crane motors suddenly power off or voltage drop violently.
Workers are not allowed to leave if there still have loads on hook.
When stop work, lift Double Girder EOT Crane hook to higher position and put controller to the 0 position, cut main power.
Cut main power and cut e-lock after work.
After shift work finish, clean crane and check it again, prepare for next shift.
When shifting work, operator on duty should hand in record book to the next shift operator, and tell him/her or department if any problem found in his duty.
Double Girder EOT Crane should be stopped and fixed at designated position after operator left.
